Welcome to RuFI-Uganda

A youth led community based organisation working towards changing lives of Women & Girls.

Our Mission is to Empower rural communities in fighting poverty, disease and defending the rights of young people through information accessibility and training services.

Services

Vocational Skills Training
Tailoring, weaving and Knitting are the current major skills being trained at RuFI. With more mobilization of resource we hope to add Hair dressing, Carpentry and Joinery, motor mechanics among others.
Creating and Generating Opportunities for Women
With our Train-Produce-Earn Concept, we are financially empowering girls and women training with to earn from their through production that is aimed at project and activities sustainability.
Career Guidance
We conduct Career guidance sessions in schools especially secondary schools to encourage girls to get focused on studies and complete school.
Disease Control and Awareness
With the rampant HIV/AIDs and Hepatitis, our efforts aims at creating and awareness of these epidemics to communities that are not aware of how they have hindered development.

Globally, women financial power still lags behind in comparison to that of men. This is one of the key factors that creates gender Equality, Domestic violence and denial for education especially in most African communities.

Empowering a girls, empowers a nation. Lets Join hands and keep Girls in School. With a mare sanitary pad, a pen, a book, hundreds of girls have dropped out of school because they cant afford. Support our campaign and lets save the future for many.

With any life skill at ones disposal, this makes one fit in any environment to earn a living. This is the quickest way to have women economic status improved. This has created a spirit to compete in the working and business community.

  • KNITTING FOR MARKET SUPPLY AND TRAINING

    We are training and producing shopping bags for market to craete project sustainability. Buying one or our products, you directly contribute to empowering more women and girls in our community,

  • CREATING MARKET OPPORTUNITIES FOR PRODUCTS

    Creating many sell points and having orders gives us an opportunity to get market of our products.

  • TRAINING AND SEWING

    To make tailoring productive, we work with schools and the community at large for our tailoring products.

For Improved community livelihoods and reduced poverty levels among rural, under served and vulnerable to disaster communities, concepts of business and Entrepreneurship are trained to both our visiting school that look forward to the put theoretical learning into practice.
