Over twelve (12) integrity ambassadors clubs under the stewardship of RUFI-U Integrity department was launched on  5th October 2016 officially launched at Kasese Secondary School in Kasese Municipality.
The function was preside over by the senior inspectorate officer under the office of the director of education and prevention of corruption in the office of the inspector general of government (IGG).in her presentation, the officer, Monica Mutesi Balikudembe called on the participants to promote a corrupt free environment since it was the basis for forming the clubs in schools. She interpreted the club constitution to participants encouraging them to be role models to the community where they live. The schools that attended included; St. Mary’s High School, Kyarumba Islamic centre, Mutanywana sec. school, King Jesus College Mubuku, Kithoma peas high school, Mubuku Valley Sec. school, St. padre pio voc.sec. School, Asam Model Sec. School, Bright academy sec. school among others and the launch was fully funded by the inspectorate of government (IG).
In the same development, Rural Focus Initiative-Uganda has been assigned the responsibility to monitor and form more integrity ambassadors clubs in schools. This was said by the senior inspectorate of government, Mutesi Monica Balikudembe at Rural focus initiative-Uganda offices in Nyamwamba division, Kasese Municipality.
On receiving the publications to distribute to clubs, the Executive Director James Baluku thanked the officer for entrusting Rural Focus Initiative-Uganda with the role adding that as an organisation, they would ensure that the responsibility is performed to the expectations of the inspectorate as the organization had set a special department responsible for monitoring integrity ambassadors clubs in schools. He however, requested the inspectorate to always guide them since the responsibility was not easy.
