Today we are featuring one of our youngest trainees in our sewing class. She is Biira Racheal aged 15. She comes from one of the mountainous areas of Kanyatsi-Kitholhu subcounty of Kasese District. Biira Racheal is a primary six drop out and this was because her parents were unable to pay the little fees the school was demanding her termly. The parents are all alive but with many children. Racheal enrolled with us at the beginning of this month in the sewing class. Racheal’s dream is to be a designer. She loves singing and green is her favorite colour.

Today Friday we feature Evelyn Kabugho 18 years old and a 3rd born of 10 children. She is in our sewing class and 2 months now learning sewing. This week Kabugho was working on a straight skirt and tried to make her own size. She is hard work and committed to her work. UPDATE ON THE OVER FLOODING IN KASESE
It was such a horrible day in Kasese-Uganda as many properties have been lost due to heavy down pour from the Rwenzoris that caused a lot of flooding. The rivers sound was terrible that even at a distance of 20kms people heard it. Evacuation of people from danger zones like Red Cross Area (Muyenga Lower) started as early 1:00am in the morning to ensure no life is lost.
